World Day of Prayer |
| |
Thursday, September 9
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Location: Sanctuary
Seventeen years ago Unity created World Day of Prayer as a global effort to uplift ourselves, our community and our world in a shared prayer consciousness. It is celebrated annually the second Thursday of September, which falls on the 9th this year. This year's theme is "Living in the Flow", reminding us that the Divine is within us, ever present and active. I suggest that you go to unity.org to learn more about what is planned and how you can be part of the celebration. At Unity of Auburn, the Chaplains are observing this celebration through prayer and contemplation in the Sanctuary between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Sept. 9. We invite you to join us for the whole event or just drop by for a few minutes to support the church and chaplains, to share in prayer if you wish, enjoy the music and slide show and meet your chaplain if you have not done so. If you can't be there, then join us in prayer wherever you are.
